Recent News Has Stated
that Perfluorooctanoic Acid (
PFOA ) Environmental Scientists conducting tests for Perfluorooctanoic Acid exposure have found the chemical (PFOA) in people all around the world. This is a potentially dangerous chemical found in "non-stick" cooking products such as Teflon and many other household repellant products. The EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics has not asked people to quit using the products, but wants all to be aware of the possible dangers! This is of concern though, as even low levels of exposure to PFOA's can be potentially toxic. |

Dupont continues to stand behind their products, though they have already paid up to $345 million dollars to 60,000 West Virginians and Ohioans to settle a lawsuit which charged that their supply of drinking water was contaminated with PFOA.
